Feedback and System Modeling track at PCaPAC'16

Hi everybody,

As member of the PCaPAC 2016 Programme Committee, Daniel Tavares is  writing to feedback control experts who could be interested in submitting abstracts to the PCaPAC (http://pages.cnpem.br/pcapac2016/). The event will take place in Campinas in October this year and will be collecting abstracts until May 15th.

This is the first time PCaPAC will have a dedicated track for feedbacks and system modeling. It should be a space to discuss not only hardware implementations and performance results of feedback control systems but rather the whole process of optimizing controllers based on system modeling. These are some areas he has been targeting:

  • Magnet current feedback (power supplies)
  • Beam orbit/trajectory feedbacks
  • RF cavity feedbacks
  • Transverse/longitudinal multibunch and intrabunch feedbacks
  • Real-time optics/tune/chromaticity/coupling/emittance feedbacks
  • Mechatronics systems for nanopositioning
  • Adaptive optics
  • Plasma control on tokamaks

He asks to distribute this content to anyone who might be interested. Any suggestions on how to advertise the workshop is also very welcome.
